My mother used to always say that a lady always wears pearls. And sure enough, whether she was out in the garden, baking a pie, outwitting all the men in the room or tucking my siblings and I into bed, she always wore a trademark string of pearls. All the ladies who work at Simply Divine Brownies also wear pearls (allbeit imitation strands, but lovely nonetheless!) and it's a great way to honor my Mom.I love the traditions that our parents pass down to us.
